Jiffy 30...needs more power

Hemlock

Question

I just got my blade sharpened by a little shop in town. (unbelievable sharpness!)

I'm running a ten inch bit, and it just seems the motor bogs down a bit, like it doesn't have enough power to turn that sharp blade. Is there a high speed adjustment I need to make? Any help....?

I used to have the same deal when I had a Jiffy.1st thing is let it idle for a minute or two before drilling any holes.2nd is I would have to adjust the carb about 2 times per a season. After the adjustment everything was just peachy.

Hope it helps.Good luck to ya.
