I never took a boat or trailer into canada, always rented, any thing special you need ,like boat and trailer regristration, name address owner, any special permits or liciness for boat? thanks ahead of time for replys.

Nothing special. Just make sure you have the boat registration card you carry in your wallet, your vehicle registration, and proof of vehicle insurance, just like you would on this side. And make sure you have photo ID along when you're in the boat, along with your fishing license. A CO who dropped in us by float plane one time was none too happy when a Canadian resident in our party didn't have photo ID aboard.

Customs is concerned with registration/insurance for car, boat, and trailer, but they are even more concerned with what's in the car and trailer. They might want to take your travel cover off of your boat and take a look. Yes, you will have to put it back on, etc.
