Just make sure you have the boat registration card you carry in your wallet, your vehicle registration, and proof of vehicle insurance, just like you would on this side. And make sure you have photo ID along when you're in the boat, along with your fishing license. Hemlock Posted January 27, 2005 Share Posted January 27, 2005 Customs is concerned with registration/insurance for car, boat, and trailer, but they are even more concerned with what's in the car and trailer.
