I would suggest to make it 6x8 or 10 because i had built a 8x8 house and it was very hard to find a trailer wide enough to move it when it was done. You should also build it with light boards so it isn't so heavy to get it up on a trailer.

DO NOT BUILD IT 8x8 its way too hard to find a trailor make it 7ft6 wide and then you will be fine. I just built an 8x8 with free lumber. Make a slanted roof so the snow runs off or your gonna have a leakage problem. I have fiberglass for a roof and it leaks if it was slanted its the best roof out there. Use the hard styrafoam insluation it seems to hold the heat great. For windows make them at sitting height so you do not have to stand up to look at your tip-ups. Also if you can throw a sliding window in the house for air. Hope this helps and have fun building the house.

I built me a 8' X 8' out of Luan plywood and 2" x 2" is 1985.

Still like new.

COmes apart in sections, each section hooks to then one to the right of it with 6" 1/4" nuts & bolts.

Sets on floor with Wood screw / Metal bolt treaded studs.

Easy, cheap, paint it up and it last for ever.

One man with a ladder can put it up in half hour or so.

Fun to make, more fun to fish out of.

: )
