Greg - forgot to tell you the fishing was no better off Jewel either. Doug's buddy had fish on the screen all day long and they wouldn't bite anything. Doug put some tip ups out too and didn't do anything other than a couple of ghost flags.

East end 6 guys off Edgewater this morning and the walleye bite has picked up.

Fished the east end off North Bay this am with a few eyes being taken in 22-28 fow on jiggin raps. Blue and silver was the hot color for the day. Good ice with a little crunch on top. Always good to be out.

Had to go to Syracuse today . . .Oneida took a real beating . . .all open, from the middle of the lake East, except where the winds have blown all the ice to the Eastern shore. Edgewood socked in with blown ice . . .don't know the safety of what is there, but I doubt if anyone will be fishing there for awhile.
