0 jigeye
I bought a kit from Fleet Farm for mine this year that has a new NGK plug, smokeless oil and wrench. My Jiffy purrs like a kitten and it's 20+ years old. It's the first NGK plug I've tried. Always used Champion before. I think either one will work fine. Make sure you gap it to .035. 0 wisconsinfish
I would go with the NGK plugs. I had 2 champions malfunction on me while drilling through the 40" of ice on upper red last year. Not sure if it was due to the heat from continuous operation or what the deal was. Been happy with the NGK's so far. If you have trouble finding them, most automotive parts stores can order them.J.T. 0 lawdog
Bosch makes the best plugs out there. Not sure if they have a plug that fits this unit, but they are good stuff. NGK's are good too, but my new chainsaw last year came with an NGK and it didn't work worth a hoot. Glazed the cylinders after one hard day of use for lack of good firing and had to be replaced. I've NGK's in my sleds for years without trouble though and the last couple years have run them in my race car without trouble also.
