Aqua-Vu Ice-Pod

Is the ice-pod really worth the money? How well does it control the camera? Does it recoil the camera ? Just some questions, any help would be great!

All it does is rotate the cable and the camera so you don't have to twist the cable to get the exact view you want. Is it worth the money? You can be the judge of that.

Personally, I would save some money and get the $15 tripod. I can get my camera pointing in the right direction with the cheapo and have money left over to buy more tackle . But, if you want to have the newest gadgets it would be handy.

Thanks for the input. I tell you what though I love the camera. One of the best fishing tools that I have purchased.

I am always looking for the better stuff(E.G.D.) Excessive Gear Disorder.. I know there is some others out there with this disease.

i thought this gadget actually retreived your cord also? maybe not... I suggest using the down view on aqua vu's, hook the cord so the camera points straight down, no need to mess with the alignment so it stays on your lure... i like to be mobile and now can actually be mobile with my vex and aquavu at the same time, but i still only use my vex when i want to be very mobile
