Bait shops near Winnie

Does Denny's have bait or should I stop before I get there. Any Bait shops that you would recomend?

I think they have bait but if you're going through Deer River, I would stop at Freds.

I would recommend either Fred's or Lucky Bait by Cohasset both just to the west of Grand Rapids on HWY 2 on the North Side of the road.

They're usually a lot of help when I go into Lucky. Nice selection as well.

I bought bait right at Dennys last year for three days and was just fine. We cought just as many perch as anybody else.

But I didnt win, maybe theres something to it?

I just picked up some really nice sized perch and crappie shiners at Rapids Tackle in Grand Rapids over the holidays. These were the perfect size for the perch we were pulling out of the river. Just a smidge bigger than your regular perch bait but way more flash than the usual fathead minnow.

Denny's does have bait. If it's for the upcoming I.C.E event I encourage you to get your bait there. He has ordered extra to make sure that he has enough onhand so no one goes baitless
