Padded seats or not?

I am going to be picking up a Polar Sport Nordic next week. Anyone suggest spending the extra $50 for the padded seats?

i HAVE THE FISH TRAP VOYAGER HOUSE WITH THE HARD BLACK SEATS FROM FACTORY,THIS YEAR i BOUGHT THE PADDED SWIVEL SEATS FROM CLAM AND PUT THOSE IN.lET ME TELL YOU,THERE IS A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE,NOW i CAN SIT AT LEAST TWICE AS LONG AND BE MORE COMFORTABLE THE WHOLE TIME. wISH i WOULD HAVE HAD THESE SEATS FROM THE GET-GO.

I have the Polar Sport 3-person portable and I purchased one seat when I bought the portable. It has a folding back with VERY little cushion….it killed to sit on it for longer than a hour…so..I just bought one of those hunting cushions.... some people call them stadium cushions...(less then 10.00 bucks).....and put that on my chair instead of spending another 50.00 bucks….works great. Just an idea.

I have the Otter seats which are identical to Polar's Deluxe Swivel Sled Seats. They are the hard plastic seats with the folding back and the padding for the bum and the backrest. They are pretty comfortable. I do not think I'd be able to spend the day sitting on the hard plastic seats if they didn't have any cushioning.

Granny get the cushy ones you dont want to sit on hard plastic all day. Or just go pay Jay the money to make some boat seat mounts for you. Im going to have him do that for a second seat in my Otter.
