Rain in engine???

It's raining hard here and i left my auger in the back of the truck ..jsut wondering if the water can get in the carb or anything and make it not perform its best???

Shouldn't be too bad I busted through last March in 3FOW and dropped my to the bottom and had to fish it back out. I put new gas in this fall, changed the plug and it worked great last weekend! its a 1999 jiffy with a 3hp

If your air intake is facing up, it would not hurt to squeeze out the foam if it got really wet.

The carb should be ok.
