Big Stone and LQP

Anyone heard how fishing has been on either of these lakes? Particularly LQP since it is a bit closer to home for me. Would like to head that direction later in the week. Thanks

Hey Spud!

I was out on LQP last night. Good 10" of ice. People driving their 2005 F150's 1/2 mile from the landing to get to the house!!!! Not me mind you but I saw it done. I only had a few bites, but I had 5 kids 10 and under with me so you know how much fishin I got done. Have heard of some nice fish being caught but not a big number of them. lota little onse though. A few crappies by the clay banks. I gonna try Hantho this weekend.

Thanks fishin.....going up tomorrow morning (thurs) with a buddy. If you get up that way, stop in. We will be in a bright yellow and black portable. Can't miss it. I'll report on how we do when we get back. Thanks

WOW!!! was it ever wet out there yesterday. Most guys were more worried about moving their houses than fishing. Managed only one northern bout 4lbs. Other than that it was slow slow slow. Hope to try again soon.
