Sick Minkota Auto Pilot

Went to use my trolling motor and all I get is a clicking sound when I step on the foot pedal.Batteries have full charge,checked all connections inside and out,motor will turn left and right,prop spins freely by hand.Clicking sound comes from base where all the wireing is,not from motor
any suggestions

It probably is the pedal, I have 2 that do weird thing sometimes, I think I might switch to wireless remote, so maybe I'll have less problems.
I already replaced one pedal.

Ill see if I can find someone with the same pedal I can try on it
