Guest
Who has had a chance to use these, how do you like them? can you use these on any size holes? Are they heavy enough so a medium wind does not blow them around being they are plastic? Please let me know if you would buy them again. Thanks for the help. ChuckN
I been using these tip-ups lately and I really like them. The nice thing is in cold temps I really don't get my hands wet and cold when setting these up, unlike other tip ups.I was fishing with some FM guys over the weekend and one of them put out a Fish Brothers on the ice in high winds and it did not move at all. You can take slush or snow and lightly pack around the edges to insulate the shell. I use this on a 8" hole and works perfect. I haven't tried a 10" hole yet, but I do believe it would work fine.I started a thread on this with a pic of a bluegill that was caught on the Fish Brothers. Matt Johnson
We had one out on the ice this past weekend up in the Alexandria area and the winds were pretty strong. The tip-up didn't really go anywhere, it stayed put pretty well. I haven't had a chance to use it over a 10 inch hole but it works just fine over an 8 inch. ChuckN used one panfish a couple weekends back...http://www.fishingminnesota.com/forum/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=451188&page=4&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1Good Fishin,Matt Johnson
