The Post listed a Ice fishing seminar on Thursday the 23rd at Gander Mountain 14000 E. Jewell Ave. Topics are Walleye and Lakers through the ice. Speakers are Doc Johnson and Dave Bryant. Time is from 7-9 p.m. Phone # is 303-750-0055

I picked up the outline from the last seminar and it seemed somewhat generic. Have you been to one of their seminars and are they worth Drive from Colorado Springs?

I've never been to a Gander Mountain seminar, but have heard both speakers before, and they really know there stuff. As for driving up from the Springs, its all a matter of how many walleye you want to catch through the ice. I would like to go, but have a doctors appointment that evening,so I don't think I'll make it. Call that # and see if maybe they have a seminar scheduled for somewhere down near you!

I will be out of town, but if you get a chance, go to the seminar. Dave Bryant knows how to catch lakers. I've fished with him alot over the past couple years, and he knows his stuff. I took the picture of him that ran in the Rocky Mtn News a few weeks ago. He caught it at Twin Lakes last May. Hope to hook up with him in January for our annual trip to Taylor. Pick his brain- he knows lakers.
