bro bug/worm

Was out fishing last night past dark. I had purchased some chartruese bro bugs and worm jigs by northland tackle last week and thought I would give them a try. They are supposed to glow, but don't glow very well. Kind of disapointed. I do like that the bugs are heavy so you can get the bait down very fast. I will have to give them a try in deeper water sometime. Anybody else try these jigs yet?

Here's a picture of the JR's Tackle Glow Bug...

The Glow Bug is an outstanding vertical jig. The Bro Bug is a little different being that it's a horizontal jig and weighs a little more. The JR's Tackle Glow Bug is great on panfish, walleyes and perch and I would have to agree with Big Daddy, the glow on these is incredible!

Good Fishin,

The glow paint used on all of JR's tackle is absolutely oustanding. One color, the glow red, is the hardest to keep charged up regardless of manufacturer, but JR's glow red will not begin to fade before it hits the water like Lindy's techniglo does. Last Friday I fished both products and had to charge up JR's red glow about every twelve minutes, the Lindy product every four to five.

Well that did it I have been looking to find something similar to the coped which has been very hard to find and ordered the size 6 ones just now from JR's. I would have liked to see these in 8's and 10's too. But the 6 might be the ticket to replace the larger copeds I currently have. The additional weight may come in handy for deep water perch as well. Thanks for the info guys I just added more jigs to my arsenal.

On the bro bugs I have a few to try this season and I'll let you know how they work as soon as we get some fishable ice.
