riverrat56
Just wondering what you guys do with the spurs or feet of a big pheasant? I always take them and cut them off right at the joint and then spread the toes and stand up the legs againts a wall or something and then put something heavy on the toes and then wait 2-3 weeks or untill the feet dry out and when they are dry they will stand up and you can set them in the garage or wherever. Old Guide
Riverrat56, I've got a friend that folds over the outer "toes" and leaves the center one straight up! He mounts this on a finished off base. Something about a bird giving the "bird" a great conversation piece!!!
