Fish'N Chum

Has anybody tried these yet??? I have a couple and I have to tell you, I'm one of the BIGGEST skeptics. After playing with these the other night, I can hardly wait to get on the ice. Being able to jig by just lifting your heal. (and I can't sit still for anything it seems) Setting the hook by just straightening your leg out!! I think this is the coolest idea in a long time. It looked at first like a gimmick, but after playing with it this thing works!!! If you have one you know what I'm talking about. If you don't, you need one. When I say "set the hook by staightening your leg out" I mean just doing this action, you get about three feet of hook set!! With no effort at all!!!

My hat goes off to the person that thought this one out!! As I said earlier, I'm the BIGGEST skeptic and I'm impressed. Try one!

Ya when we took ours out on the ice it got some laughs but they work real well at what they are supposed to do. They keep your hands free when you need it. Its cool jigging while your eating lunch or tieing up another rod.

wow, the fish'n chum sounds like the real deal. if it weren't for the fact that it's advertised on "fm.com" and it's the pro staff that's recommending it, i'd swear someone was trying to sell "snake oil." i can't wait to get mine. how do i get one??

Ya Goose, that's for sure. I thought the same as you when I first saw it.

I had two Ice Fishing Guides take them off my hands this past weekend up on Lake of the Woods, they were so impressed with the Fish-n-Chum. They were also VERY skeptical when they first saw it. Took a bit of convincing to get one of them to put it on his leg.

At the end of the day he said he hardly even knew it was on unless he needed it for a rod holder or deadstick holder while working two rods.

Didn't you read my post!!! I'll tell you straight out. They sent these to me because of FM. Actually when I first heard the name I thought it was some kind of attractant. When I got it I thought "you have to be kidding!!" After trying them though, I'm telling you this thing works!!! You don't have to buy one, I could care less what YOU do. I'm just giving a BIG thumbs up to something that on first impression I laughed at. After being proven wrong. I thought the least I could do was tell people.
