MIKE IN lINO III
I have Decon and drier sheets all over but I still see signs of mice. Any other ideas?I opened my sled and found a stash of corn, sunflower seeds and Decon. Seems Like they have a sound diet. Mike
0 Yukon Don
I hate the smell, but have you tried moth balls? My neighbor uses them in his boat and has not had a problem.
0 Gissert
If the mice are an off season storage issue, I take my canvas off the tub and hang it until it is fully dry. I then store it in a big rubbermaid container. No mice problems ever since I started doing this.
0 MIKE IN lINO III
Sorry Gissert I have to clearify, I opened the hood to my snowmobile and found the stash. As far as my ice house I hang it from the ceiling in the garage. If they get in there I'm moving.
0 hoggsback
I've heard of using whole cloves or Irish Spring bar soap. I have no personal experience with either. I use an entire box of dryer sheets and Decon at the cabin and have no signs of the little critters. Get rid of all food sources and paper- TP rolls, paper towels, etc.
0 fishin789
mice don't like pepermint. buy some mint extract and use that. at work we used to put spearmint gum in our desk drawers to keep the mice out of the desk drawers. And it smells way better then moth balls.I used to live in a mobile home and the mice would come in up the gas pipe. I pored some mint extract down the pipe from the inside of the mobile home and no more mice in house.
