loebs93
I have always wondered if it is legal or not to "go to the bathroom" while out on the lake (ice and open-water). I'm pretty sure it is illegal, but I see evidence of it quite a bit and frankly it makes me sick. I think most of us have been guilty of it at one point or another. There is some humor to this topic but I'm really interested to hear what you guys think or do and I hope we can discuss this like adults, although I might have troubles...lolThanks a lot
smartguy
#1 - if I have to. How's this any different than what animals and fish do?#2 - No! I can't "sit" exposed outside that long!
hip_hop_fisherman
as far as number 2 is concerned, garbage bag in a bucket
Gus
If you use a bag for ole #2 please don't stuff it under the ice! I once had a bag pop up into my fishing hole. I grabbed it out of the water and boy was I surprised at what someone had left me inside! Just so happend to be the same bag I gave some fellow fisherman 30 min earler when he asked if we had one so he could take his fish home in it. Lesson learned. Never give out a bag, you never know when you'll get it back.
hip_hop_fisherman
If you're going to go #2 in a bag and just stuff it under the ice, why wouldn't you just go on the ice or in the hole? Some people are rather odd....
mnboy26
I have a buddy who's son was ill last year and had to go, we went outside and was caught by the dnr.because he was 6 he avoided the 850.00 fine....i think im rigging up a funnel, tube and closable container system for the permanent house,i think im going to put a hole in the wall and set the container outsige and run the tubing to it. as for #2 I found this nifty portapotty that just uses plastic bags to contain the waste. It basically equates to a 5 gallon bucket, but has a neat storage area for tp in the top, oh and it has a seat too....my 2 cents...craig

hip_hop_fisherman
850.00 is going to make me debate how bad I have to "go" this winter!
tisch008
If you take a leak outside of you portable it's an $850.00 fine?!?!??!
loebs93
Has anybody gotten one of these hefty fines or heard of anybody getting one? I knew there was a fine but not that expensive
psegriz
Did they raise the fines? I thaught misdemenors (sp) had a 700 dollar max.
Bass_Bully
I bring empty milk cartons for #1, and scoop snow on a shovel and throw it in a bag for #2. Both are done inside to stay warm. Better then that hefty fine. A guy would almost have to get the old #2 mounted if he had to pay $800.
