Aqua-Vu ZT-60 or Aqua-Vu MC2X

I know that ZT is a replacement for the MC2x. I can get the mc for 250 or the zt for 299. The ZT has a fish decoy camera is that worth the extra money. Does the decoy camera really work. Do fish get spoked by the old style camera?

I also think that the lights are different between the two.

Was there a problem with MC lights or is it marketing?

Any input would appreciated.

THere is nothing wrong with the MC2x, but the new lights in the ZT's are supposed to be better, they are supposed to help eliminate the reflection on particles in the water. As for the new fish camaras, The old ones do spook fish at times but I think the new ones will also. I have a feeling the new ones will get rocked by a few northerns, I know that they would attack the old ones once in awhile a the new ones look just like a spearing decoy. AJ

Thats a tough one. They are pretty much the same camera, its the lights that are different. The MC2X has red and green lights.. the new ZT60 has red and blue lights. As stated, you are supposed to get less flashback or reflective stuff from the red/blue. Personallly for me, I would pay the extra $49 and get the ZT60...

I would get the new ZT-60 just to see the response of the big northerns.

I just hope people bring there camcorders with and tape what they see.

I would love to see a video of a camara attack

But really the new ZT-60 Should be a much better camara.
