vexilar battery

Hi fellas, I just bought a vexilar from another FM'er and I need to get a battery for it. I did a search and couldn't quite find the answer. My question is which gives the most bang for the buck, lead acid or gel cell battery??? Or, does it matter??? Thanks.

Buy a Vexilar battery. The v120 is a 9amp 12volt btry.with a

automatic charger.Charge it every time ya use it and you'll have a btry that will last many years.

For sure get gel battery. Last much longer over all lifetime and works aheck of lot better in the cold.
