LCD locators

I came home tonite opened the garage door and was looking at my boat and remembered my locators. You see last year like every year I left my locators hooked up to my boat. I use the boat during the winter when we get warm spells, and can get to the river. But this spring one of my locators had some problems with the LCD display. What had happened was the screen froze and wrecked the locator. Being this is the ice forum what better place to remind people to take care of your electronics for the winter. Locators are to expensive to let them freeze out in the garage or where ever you store your boat.
