TheGuy
What are some options for raping geese for the freezer? What should I use to keep them nice for the freezer? Thanks!
g'eye pilot
Are you talking "whole" birds, or just breasts? I rarely put a whole bird in the freezer. But for breasts, of course a vacuum sealer work quite well. A more economical method is to use a sturdy zip lock bag. Run some cool water into the bag so the meat is just covered. Then squeeze all of the air out of the bag. Though primative, this will preserve your boundy for quite some time. I will occasionally use recycled cool whip containers too - works with pheasant, duck, and fish fillets.
Ybone
I wouldn't try it, it's probably illegal in some states plus they would probably put up a pretty good fight.
