0 2dalake
I wouldn't trade my Buck. I bought it so long ago and have had no reason at all to price them since that I have no idea what they cost.I also have a little Rapala for panfish, but the wood handle is harder to hang onto than the Buck. The blade is OK. I keep one of these little Rapala sharpening tools in my tacklebox and use it often, before it's needed.
0 delmuts
are you talking electric or manual ? i have no info on elec. so; i have two rapalas( long with wood handles) and a buck lock blade fillet knife. i like them both. the buck does have a little thicker blade, and a more rounded end than i care to use, but it holds a great edge and is a great knife. i do use my rapalas most of time. the wood handles aren't bad. you just have to wipe the slime off once in a while. if i was going to buy a new one , it would be the longer rapala with the coated handle. del
