lucky7
John:Glad to have you home safe. It sounds like you had a great trip. We are all chomping at the bit for some ice fishing. I am still a little nervous when I hear that the ice varies from 2-5 inches. I don't mind the 5 but am not at all excited about 2 inches. How long does it take you to get from Greeley to Lake John? I may be up for a trip there if the bite is good.
John19
yeah, 2inches can be alittle scary. Lake John is about 2-2.5 hours from Greeley traveling hwy 14. depends on traffic or weather. John
EricCO
What is the best way to get to Lake John from Littleton? Head up 1-25 then take hwy 14 or is there a faster way through the mountains?
Don In Denver
I-70 west to US 40. Hwy 40 to just west of Granby, then Colo. 125 north toward Walden. The turn-off is just this side of Walden and is well-marked. It's about 165 miles from Littleton to the lake. That's a much faster way than I-25 and Colo. 14.
