French Spaniel
We will be having a litter of French Spaniel Pups due to be whelped in late December. They are a calm, close working pointing dog. There are not very many in the United States. These are an entirely different breed than a French Brittany. We have been trying to educate folks about the breed. If you want to know more about them click on the following web-site and examine the links on the side. French Spaniel
Thank You! Yes, they really are a beautiful dog but better yet they are a great family pet and hunting partner. Since the 1970s when they were first imported in North America from France they were mostly used for grouse and woodcock in Quebec. However, in the last decade folks have found out they they are a real versatile dog. Great for pheasant. Some guys have been using them for ducks but I don't duck hunt....I've sold some out west to folks who use them for chuckars and quail. Like I said earlier... maybe the best thing about them is their calm temperament. They are just a nice dog that many people don't know about.
