Zercom battery question

Can anyone tell me what battery I should buy for a zercom clearwater classic flasher. Im buying a used unit that is supposed to need a battery and I would like to go ahead and get the battery ahead of time. If anyone has one of these units I would appreciate if you could take a look and post the battery number on here please. Iceman out>

I have the Zircom unit and i will check it tonight and let you know. It is a good unit i have had mine for about 5yrs. take care and good fishing.

I use my Classic summer and winter. 12V boat battery in the summer and 9.6 Makita drill battery on a homemade stand in the Winter. Really works well and the batteries are always charged!

Most units come with a 7ah 12v gel cell battery. You should be able to find them for around $20 with a charger. A fully charged battery should run that unit for a weekend no problem.

The battery for the CC is just a standard 12V 7Ah Sealed LEad acid battery. The same as a VEx, MArcum, Aqua-Vu, etc.
