It's not too late for MONSTER walleye!!

Just got off the phone with Woody from Woody's Fairly Reliable Guide Service and F.R. Woody's Pub in Rainer MN.

He told me that right out in front of his place, which is right where the Rainy River flows out of Rainy Lake, they have been catching MONSTER walleye, 10 pounders plus at night.

If you have ever wanted to land a fish this size, now is the time. Woody informed me that he is offering a 35% discount on all logding to FM members. Just let him know you read this here and he'll set you up. Those of you who have stayed with Woody know this is a pretty good deal, and if anything, your life will not be complete without meeting Woody at least once! grin.gif

Yes, they are snapping!!! I just returned from the Rainy and we fished across from Adrian's and caught several... 10 plus was the largest, but several on the 5 and 6 pound class. They looked fat and I'm sure they were full of eggs. We kept only the 14-17 inch and released the rest. Had a good walleye dinner and got home before the all of the Deer hunters were on the road back... If you ever wanted to catch a HOG, the Rainy in the fall is great. When can you remember a November like this on the Rainy, warm and sunshine.... And GREAT fishing on the open of Deer season.....Kaz

Woody is truly a class act! I've fishd with him on occasion and we always have a ton of fun, and catch a few to boot! His wife LeeAnn also guides and knows the lake and fish patterns almost as well as Woody! They not only know where the walleye are, but say the smallies are snapping as well! Get up and catch some of these brutes!
