Got the afternoon free today. I took off for some WMA's between Belgrade and Benson. I thought the bird would be holding tight in the mist. I was wrong for the first spot. Every bird we encountered ran. we put up 6 at the first spot, Got one Rooster. Headed to another for the late afternoon hunt. Here the birds were holding very tight and now it is starting to dry out. Got 2nd Rooster about 10 minutes in. Decided to keep walking since no body was around. Saw 5 more roosters and a dozen hens in about 50 minutes.

Lot of corn,maybe 50% has gone since 2 weeks ago, And even with all the rain many were still working.
