Emily area trout fishing

Does anyone know about the pits and mines in the Emily area? We are going up Fri. early for deer hunting and thought we would give it a try. I'm not sure if we need our boat or if anything even bites this time of year.

I don't know anything about the pits in that area, but I do know that this time of the year can offer great trout fishing in pits and lakes.

I don't know of too many pits in that area. But I do know that trout fishing in lakes closes Sunday so might as well give it one last hoorah. That's what I'm planning on doing tomorrow.

Well thanks for the replies. I'll have to look over the map. But if your talkin about it closing this Sun. the 29th I can forget about that adventure.Hmmm... Maybe we should just try a evening duck hunt. It will get dark at 5:00 anyway.
