0 kslipsinker
I purchased a 15' Blue Fin that had the two rear seats removed. It had a 4' x 8' floor with 2 pedestal seats. I had to remove the seat posts and put the seats in the pedestal holes to operate the motor, otherwise the center of gravity was too high. The boat wasn't very stiff either because the seats were a structural part of the boat. Who ever had done the modifications had attempted to put a platform on the front seat, which made the boat plow like a barge. I ripped that out jst so I could get the boat to plane out. I would not recommend the modifications too your boat unless you really know what you are doing, especially if the boat is a shallow hull design. 0 say_der
I'd leave the benches for structural support. Put the false floor in between them.
