How tough are the CO's?

How tough are the consevation officers on the 30 day health check on dogs comming to hunt in the state? I've heard some don't even check and other are pretty tough. Thanks for the help.

I guess I have never been checked by a C.O. while hunting. I would reccomend getting it to save a potential conflict.

They dont even check in South Dakota. I have hunted with numerous amounts of dogs over the years and never heard anything about dogs getting checked by CO's. I wouldnt worry about it. You wont have any problems!!!

I was out there on the opener and was checked by a C.O. He checked our licenses and that's it. We had two dogs and neither one had a health card. We just had our paperwork with current vaccinations. it did not appear he was at all concerned about a health card, but each one is different. I was not aware of that law until we got out there and someon else in our group brought it up.
