Pheasant hunting near New Germany/St. Boni area

I'm heading out this saturday to the New Germany, Mn area to try and take down some pheasants, I've heard decent things from my friend who lives out there and has some acreage. Has anybody else had any luck in this area?

4 guys 2 dogs opening day in the mayer/waconia area. Flushed 1 hen and saw 1 rooster but never flushed him. Hunted 4 hours on public and private land.

Hey muskieguy... I live in Lakeville as well ... on the back side of Orchard Lake! You ever fish out there?
