My uncle showed me a neat trick this weekend, used a cheap, fine toothed baby comb to brush ticks out of dogs hair. Worked really good on my lab. Anyone else got any tips for deticking dog, here in NW WI they have been really thick.

I have to agree with Perch Jerker. I started with Frontline 5 years ago or so after countless "tick collars" that just waste your money. I have not had a fat tick since. They bite in and then they die, simple as that.
