Has anyone stayed at the Hobo Park Campground in Starbuck? Looking to get a review from an actual camper. I want to go fishing on Lake Minnewaska, and think I'll need to spend a couple days there...thx. --Andy

Have never stayed at hobo park, but have camped at Barsness park in Glenwood, also at a couple of places along the north shore drive. Depending on what weekend you are there makes all the difference in the kind of weekend you will have. Starbuck Heritage days (I think that is what it is called) you will have more partiers, Waterama weekend will have more partiers, If you are looking for a quiet getaway look for a weekend without a festival going on, if you want to fish and party then hit the festival weekends. Pretty hard to fish Minnewaska during Waterama, boats and jetskis galore. Plus the amount of boaters and alcohol really can put a damper on things.
