I hope I did not kill the spelling.

Does anybody have information they could share regarding catching your own bait? I have access to storage.

Is it possible to go out and sein for Shiners, chubs and other types?

Yes it is possible to get shiners, chubs and minnows via seining.

During the fall we only make one pass through the shallows and the net is full of shiners. Make sure that you read the regs because there is limitations on the net also which lakes you use.

But in general a store like Gander will have the net you can use. Make sure you get the largest. And to protect the fish that you do catch in the net don't take it fully out of the water (lay it on shore) Sometimes it takes a while to sort through them to find what you need. Good Luck.
