If you dont have running lights...the brown wire is probably bad somewhere. To start: take a voltmeter and see if you are getting power at the light that isnt working. If you are...your connection may be corroded. You could try splicing a new ring connector to the light if that isnt working. If you arent getting power to that light...check your connections and harnesses around the tongue. The brown wire runs your running lights...thats where I would look first. It could always be a bad ground somewhere...but this case doesnt sound like that.

I had quite a bit of experience troubleshooting my own trailer lights problems this year. I had one fixture that was wired incorrectly. Had to have been wrong since 1995.

Got them to work guys, thanks for the input. The problem was in the connector to my pickup one of the slots piece of copper was rotted away from salt. Had to put new female connector on.

Funny thing is the female part was more than the male part. Funny how females are more money!!
