I have a 91 Ford Explorer for sale, that I really need to sell. I'm selling it for $2700 or BO. It blue books at $2750. It has PL, PW, and good tires. The body is in good condition. There is 189,000 miles on it, but it runs great. (I have a Z71 with 240,000 on it, so these trucks have been well taken care of). I can be contacted at [email protected]. This is a daytime e-mail only. I'll respond as quick as I can. Thanks.

I may be interested iffin you're open to offers.

A few questions;
4x4? If 4x4 is it lever or touch actuated?
Manual or automatic?
4.0 litre?
I also need to know the axle gear ratio. There is a white sticker with VIN and other info inside the drivers door. Down along the bottom of this sticker is a gear ratio code, I need to know whether its a 41,43, or a D4.

Whats the rust situation and does it have those factory fiberglass running boards and what not on it?

Color in and out, and interior condition, buckets, bench ect.

Thanks....Fisky

Fisky, the gear ratio is D4. It is an automatic transmission, the running boards are aluminum that run the entire length from tire to tire. There is bucket seats, push button 4 wheel drive. The interior is gray, and the exterior is black. The only rust is where the salt built up on the running boards by the back tires, and a little by the gas cover. There is very little rust. The tires are good, and like I said, It runs great. It is a V6 4.0litre.
