Hugo
Snort,They do not have long/lat lines. You'll need the SE section I believe.Fishing is pretty easy. We used nothing but plastics, twister tails on jigs and berkley power worms with spinners and bottom bouncers. Bring lots of spinners and jigs.Fish points with wind and you will catch fish. We also trolled crankbaits in front of the big sand hill across from the camp. Can be very good there if the conditions are right. Travel carefully. Lots of rocks that are not marked.Dave
Buck Snort 2
Can anyone tell me where I can get a good lake map of Lac seul? Can you get a good map on-line or should I wait to get one in Canada?I have found a few maps on-line but they divide the lake up into 4 catagories (NW, SW, NE, & NW). The directions to the lodge say the last town is Hudson. What map would I want to pick up for that area?I am going up with my dad (+70) and his buddy (+70) using my boat so I will be 'da guide' for them. A lake map would come in plenty handy. Thanks in advance for any and all info.Buck
Hugo
Snort,What resort are you staying at? I went out of Hudson a couple of years ago (Mahkwa). You can get maps at Thorne Bros. They had all 4 when I got mine. You can then look and see which one contains the area you are going to be fishing.Dave

PRO-V
Buck, while you are there check out some of the other resorts. My buddies stayed there last fall and said it was old and not in too good of shape compared to the places we usually stay, especially for what they charge. Instead of turning to go to Hudson, go just up the road a couple hundred feet and check out Abram Lake Park. That is where we stay and we also like Frog Rapids Just up the road, very reasonable.
