Trout Report-Sioux Narrows Area

Two computerless friends of mine are heading to Sioux Narrows/Whitefish Bay area on Tuesday and I told them I would try to get some current info on the bite. Anyone been up there after Trout since the opener? Any info will be appreciated. Ol'Sneller

Just got back from there yesterday.Fishing was alittle slow for our group,only iced 8 trout for 2 days of fishing. All the fish we caught were 20 ft down over 28 to 60 ft of water on 3inch white tube jigs. They're plowing roads onto whitefish, but we hit some areas with only 5-6 inches of ice,I would recommend snowmobile travel only.

We were on Crow,Rowand,Otterskin,
Airplane jigs yellow or white tipped w cisco
30-45 feet of water
Did very well,
Crow has some slush,we saw ice of 5 to 12 inches in the area we fished
