Nestor Falls Crappies

Heading up to Nestor Falls and Crow Lake this weekend. Has anybody got a recent report on the Crappie fishing up there. Cyclone Point, Hay Island, Stevens Bay etc.Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just got back from pounding em in Stevens Bay. Hay Island good too. Midday was the best time although we caught some big boys well after dark. Demons were the jig of choice. Live bait rigs with Ice Buster Bobbers also produced.

Thank you for the report. I am looking forward to icing a bunch this weekend. Did you try or notice any good spots for eyes between Steven's Bay and Hay Island?

You mentioned to not plan on driving in another post. Do you mean on Crow? I assume that it is safe to drive on LOW all the way down to Hay. Is that correct. Thanks.

They've been able to plow out to Stevens Bay and only part-way to Hay. Paul from Muskie Bay os the guy to call. He explained he was hitting slush ont he way out to Hay. That may change by the weekend. I was with wgmsa last weekend and Crow is the place no one should be driving on yet, unless you're driving a 4WD Yugo. Granted, some of the bays are safe but not the main basins.
