English River

Does anyone fish the English River system thru the ice? I have done so well up there in the open water that I would like to try some ice fishing there too.

I've done well during open water, but never fished it through the ice. I can't imagine it being poor during the hardwater season.

The outpost we go to has ice houses on an island over the summer. Guys catch tons of fish over the winter. They go deep after September so probably their deep in winter as well..Sturgeon River,part english river system (Lake Salveson).
