fishanytime
How's the walleye fishing in the Whitefish bay or yellow girl areas. Mid July they seemed to be in trasition, some suspended. Has that changed?
Hemlock
Fishanytime,Whitefish Bay = slow, but some good size. Yellowgirl Bay = more in numbers, but lesser in size. They are fishing deep reefs in Yellowgirl. Early July they were transitioning from ledges/points out to the reefs. ------------------Hemlock"Throw'm back"
fishanytime
Thanks Hemlock,I assume lindy rigs and jigs are working best, anyone trolling the reefs with plugs?
Hemlock
fishanytime,I must admit, all I've ever done for the eyes is jigs and spinners. Never tried pulling raps or any plugs for them...I know I've seen some hogs caught on them though.------------------Hemlock"Throw'm back"
fishanytime
Just returned mid week from fishing walleyes and found the bite improving as the weather heated up. Walleyes and jumble perch were at 20 feet on the reefs and some suspended above that. Great bite early in the week on minnows.
