Went out this evening and finally hooked into MR. BIG, 27 1/2" 10lb 2oz wiper. Four hours of trolling resulted in two 12" smallies so I decided to change up. After the sun went down I drifted over a little sweet spot and sure enough third cast WAMM this thing took off like a freight train, great fight took probably 5 to 7 minutes to get in. Not that long for its weight but what a hog this thing had a belly like a mexican bass. I'll post some pics as soon as my roll of film runs out.

Wow, I bet that was a blast!! My biggest wiper is 23inches, and it gave me the fight of a lifetime!!

The wiper are boiling and the action is nothing short of awsome. I've had three days were I caught nothing but 21 to 25 inch wiper in the 4 to 7lb range, 10 to 15 an evening. Then two days were I ran into huge schools of smaller wiper in the 12 to 15" range and caught dozens of them, around 50 each time. The biggest so far has been 11lbs 9oz. Rat-l-traps have been working but when there boiling they'll hit just about anything. Most of the action has been in the west end where tons of baby shad are schooling.
