Deep/heart Lakes

No, I never have , but If a guy had a snowmobile there are a lot of choices,I would like to get a snowmobile to fish such places, but I can't talk my buddies into getting one also.I would be a little hesitant running into the back country with one machine, I'm not that trusting.

I have had those same thoughts myself running around that country on a quad. I was very careful not to puncture a tire on some of those rocky jeep trails.

Some year I am going to come out a few days before elk season and drop down into Deep Creek and try for some of those brookies. I love the look of that canyon, but the climb back out would probably kill a flatlander like me.

Nah, just take it easy and go slow and you'll be OK. I moved to Colo from N.D. if you want to talk about flat land. Moved slow and took aspirin for the headache, and all was well.

Besides, country that beautiful makes a guy want to rest a lot and look. grin.gif

And boy, when I moved back down from 10,000 to the flatland, did I unload that U-Haul in a hurry sucking on all the rich oxygen after a year in the heights. cool.gif
