fished macbride lake last night caught 50 crappies in about 4 hours kept 25 between 9-9 3/4in good eaters
just thought i'd let you all know
after memorial day no bigger then 9.9hp

I haven't been out to Macbride since last weekend--the smaller crappies were biting in deeper water, but not as well as they had been a few weeks earlier. I am betting the spawn is well underway by now. If you don't already know about it, check out iowaoutdoors.org for more reports on Macbride.
