I am going to get out tomorrow Sunday, was hoping I could get some advice on lakes that are producing some panfish (gills/perch/crappie) within an hour of Algona?

Try Little Clear by Albert City. It has a nice perch bite going. Its not much over an hour from Algona.

If you want to get into some good panfishin just head over Whittemore pits. I have been goin over there for a few weeks now. Been gettin alot of crappies and gills. I went to Brushy and burned 50,000 calories to catch 4 nice crappies.The ice conditions
are rough.I don't know what any of the smaller bodies of water are like,but there is a lot of slush up there!

checked out Whittemore pits (South) tonight. Found the brushpile after about 10 holes, no bites tonight, but will try again. Thanks for the heads up.
