Spring Lake in Cherokee

Spring lake is hot right now for SLAB crappie's and large sunfish!!!! We have been catching perch too.

My name is Jason Fuhrman, I live in minnesota now and am on this site all the time and i saw iowa and was messing around and thought i would give spring lake some props, i have caught some nice largemouth in there before....1 out of every 50 is a billy bass.

have you iced spring yet this year, you should get some sunni action, i havent lived there for 5 years but i used to fish it all the time when i was 5yrs to 18yrs...like every day.

i have caught some monsters out of that pond its a good pond but can be slow at time but if you work the tubes hars and do it right u can often spring a big one

yea u can camp there and this lake is in cherokee

yeah there is hookups on the north side of the lake by the river for campers, and there is a tenting are also, the river runs real close to the lake, so if there is no action go to the river and fish by the train tresle. there is cat in there....

spring lake is just off highway 59 south of the little sioux river right in the middle of town

Take c38 east from highway 60 and it runs right into cherokee, the lake is nothing to brag about though...it isnt that great to drive a long ways for.

Have you ever tried Little Sioux Park south of Correctionville it's a lot nicer park then Spring Lake.It's great place to take the kids

I've been there, a little to crowded for me. Camp sites to close together. Nice little pond,pretty good fish some days. Thanks guys Jack

i used to party there down by correctionville in high school we used to camp down there, got busted for beer ahahah...

yea iv fished there a couple of time iv pulled out some nuice one yea but im just that good so it doesnt really matter
