Doe Hunters????????

I am curious to know how many of us are out there hunting does? Dont get me wrong I will take a nice buck if I see one, but every season I am counting on getting a doe. It is not a management thing for me, its just what I have come to enjoy more than keeping my hopes up for a nice wallhanger. Lets hear some other thoughts on this.

Meat for the freezer! You bet I'll be trying for a doe. I'm bow hunting for the first time this year, so I'm using the bonus doe (anterless) tag we get in our area for the bow so I can hunt with my dad and brother during gun season for a buck. But if I do see a MONSTER buck, well....

Any deer is a trophy. If a doe comes within bow range, the bonus tag will take care of her. If a buck comes within bow range, the regular tag will take care of him. But I most prefer the fawns: ummm! most delicious.

Being in metro hunts, I always am hunting does. Every year I buy bonus tags and take does. DEEELICious and they help to balance the population some. Still lookin' for that 180 lb. doe!

I filled out for a lottery tag so hopefully I to will be hunting does. I rather shoot a buck but I think I would settle for a doe.
Last year was my first deer hunt and I passed up two does to wait for my buck. To bad my buck never showed up. This year I'm taking the first thing I see if I see any at all.
