stele
I was watching a guy use a drill to turn his winches on a newer ice castle, it was pretty slick, they have the two pulley system, mine is only single pulley. My question is has anybody put the two speed winches on their single pulley fish house and used a drill to lift the fish house and how did it work? TIA leech~~
leech~~
Sorry I don't have one but I watched a guy using his drill and that worked out pretty slick. Hope you find some answers but you now have all summer to work on it! stele
Hawg
Stele, the answer is yes. I have a one pulley system and use IC Nutz system. You have to have two speed winches and a BIG drill, most use Milwaukee Fuels or DeWalts. Some say 750# torque drill but the 1000-1200# ers are the way to go. Don’t buy a cheap drill, they don’t last. Lots of people have one pulley system. Don’t use hem to lower the house, just to raise it. IC Nuts has videos on their site.
