Bernie Keefe
I have been wearing the Clam "Onyx" boots for 2 years. I spend 5 days a week on the ice. They have kept my feet warm in -30 degree temps, slushy conditions and down right miserable days. After 2 years the seams are still holding together strong and not leaking. I have an extra pair I loan my friends and clients, they have all said these are the best light weight boots they ever worn. Here is a link to them.http://clamoutdoors.com/ice_armor/footwear/icearmor-onyx-boot.html
Tim Moore
X2 on that Bernie. I have been a rubber boot guy most of my life. This year I decided to try the Onyx boots. They offer the warmth and comfort that I have been looking for. I hate having to lace my boots on the ice, and I thought the water from drilling holes was going to be a problem, but it hasn't. I'll be sticking with them.
Coryy
I have been kicking around the thought of picking up a pair. Right now I am wearing Muck boots and I really like them as they are dry and warm, but they can get cold after a bit of time with my feet on the ice. Matt Breuer
I was wearing Cabelas Inferno 2000's and switched to the Onyx last year. Same warmth, half the weight. Best boot I've ever worn, hands down. My feet have only been cold once, and it's because I over-layed with wool and cotton on a frigid day, and my feet were sweating. Thumbs. Up. WEB 78
My daughter has had a pair for 2 years now and she almost always complained that her feet were always cold. Today I thought I'd try them out. Had a pair of the the merino wool icearmor socks like I always wear and after 3.5 hours in my fish trap with some heat and a rug under my feet, I knew what she was always talking about, I had very cold feet. Lacrosse Ice Kings and I have never had cold feet in all the years I've had them. Only drawback is the size compared to the clam boots but I can easily put up with that for having warm feet.
